“Edgewater è l’hotel più bello in cui siamo state in South Island. E’ proprio sul lago con un bellissimo giardino, tutto molto curato, al ristorante abbiamo mangiato e bevuto benissimo. Il personale gentile e accudente. Da non mancare!”

“Only one side of electric blanket worked. Spa not available. Room smaller than expected. Staff cordial and lots of places close by to walk to for shopping and eating.”

“We arrived late at night due to unforeseen circumstances and had a difficult time getting into our room. No one was in the office and it was closed, so we had to knock on the door until someone came. They seemed very annoyed, but told us that our key was already in our room and the room was unlocked. We didn’t love that the room was accessible to anyone before we got there. The place itself was good. There was milk in the fridge and a couple of cookies. No frills place but it got the job done...

“Have stayed here twice now. The only thing to watch out for is the stairs to go from the car park to the door. They are not undercover and can get slippery in rain or ice. The townhouses do not have internal laundries which can be inconvenient in the rain/cold.”

“Room was a little small as nowhere but bed to sit on . There was a communal zone of kitchen and lounge however . Would say a great place for groups to go as you have private room and bathroom and big communal area , also bakery , pub , supermarket and bottle shop right there”

“The room was fine. As in most places on the South Island during winter, it's hard/impossible to get the room temperature to a comfortable level. That being said, I would probably stay there again.”
