“We booked last minute and we weren’t disappointed. The staff are friendly and it was located in the heart of Wanaka within walking distance to restaurants. We had a campervan and parked on the property at the front. Parking is on a first come basis. The place is cozy.”

“Edgewater è l’hotel più bello in cui siamo state in South Island. E’ proprio sul lago con un bellissimo giardino, tutto molto curato, al ristorante abbiamo mangiato e bevuto benissimo. Il personale gentile e accudente. Da non mancare!”

“We arrived late at night due to unforeseen circumstances and had a difficult time getting into our room. No one was in the office and it was closed, so we had to knock on the door until someone came. They seemed very annoyed, but told us that our key was already in our room and the room was unlocked. We didn’t love that the room was accessible to anyone before we got there. The place itself was good. There was milk in the fridge and a couple of cookies. No frills place but it got the job done...

“Room was a little small as nowhere but bed to sit on . There was a communal zone of kitchen and lounge however . Would say a great place for groups to go as you have private room and bathroom and big communal area , also bakery , pub , supermarket and bottle shop right there”
