“A gorgeous place to stay. We loved our time at Aquila and felt so relaxed and refreshed being there. The room was clean and cosy, especially with the fire on. The amenities were fantastic and the bottle of bubbly readily enjoyed! We both found the bed to be comfortable and had a real quality night's sleep. Couldn't fault it, thank you for having us! ”

“This is a fantastic place to stay. Kangaroos and large sulphur-crested cockatoos feel like part of the cottage itself. You naturally greet the animals as you see them around, and in the early morning you wake up to unique bird sounds that make you feel as if you are in the middle of the forest.
The fireplace in the living room is wonderfully warm, and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas are excellent.”

“Lovely old style building, rooms were nice and warm despite the cold weather and I loved the bath - though it would have been nice to have some bath salts or bubble bath.
Soft mattress which I liked but my partner struggled with. The mini wine and kitkats were a nice surprise however we would have liked to know in advance that the restaurant and bar were not open at night especially given it was a long weekend. It was also a shame that the fire was only on for a short time. We would have liked...

“Overall stay was pleasurable. Nice cottage and quiet surrounds.
Just a few things- Lucky key box was already open as we weren’t sent a code or check-in details.
Cobwebs and dust hanging from windows, ceilings and fan was an eyesore. In the accommodation folder says bacon, eggs and yogurts were supplied for breakfast, no yoghurts, and weren’t expecting Aldi packaged sliced ham instead of bacon and Aldi prima’s. No curtain to cover the window facing the loft bedroom which let the hot sun beam...

“My husband, Joseph and I had a wonderful one night stay at The Loft In The Mill. The weekend coincided with my milestone birthday, and to my complete surprise, the wonderful team at the Loft, made it all the more special with a birthday message, a box of chockies and some sparkling. Such a generous and wonderful gesture. Thank you!”
