“Room had been prebooked and paid for, hotel had been called and car parking booked in advance. On arriving at the hotel the car park barrier was being repaired with gaffer tape and we were instructed to park on double yellows. On attempting to check in we were told the hotel was fully booked and they didn't have the room that had been booked. They next found us a room at a lower grade and offered free car parking as compensation. They then told us the room hadn't been paid for and I had to show...

“Very disappointed with room. Paid £80 when was only worth a maximum of £20. Fire safety poster in bedroom unreadable! Very dated, dark & dingy decoration In desperate need of work Located on a busy main road, so noisy traffic. Carpet unclean Bathroom in need of updating 2 cups in room but no glasses. I asked a member of staff for a glass but was told they don’t supply glasses?? Definitely not recommended at this price!!!!”
