“We made our reservation before one of the most deadly flooding event in Texas history. The town was devastated. We only had 1 night reserved and after the flood, we contacted the Hotel to see if they would need us to cancel our reservation to allow for access by Emergency responders. They said it was ok so we kept it. The town was loaded with strangers but everyone we encountered were gracious and helpful, I was grateful to have been able to experience the small amount of the crisis that they...
