“Very pleasantly located near rural walks along the river and duck ponds. The quality of the food was very good with a good few choices from the standard and gluten free menus. Helpful staff and nice atmosphere whether you are inside and outside dinning. Rooms are very clean and modern with a few nice touches. ”

“At a first glimpse, the hotel seems a little bit dated. In reality, it is pretty confortable. The room are not too big, but there is everything you need. “4 star Hotel close to the Hospital in Basingstoke. Pool and Gym Service (if u pick up wrong time pool is full of old English ladies). Rooms are ok, nothing special, needs to be renovated. “This is a beautiful old house that has been made into a hotel. It looks and feels like it has a lot of history. It is a lovely tranquil place. Clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Wifi in the room and common areas. They do nice homemade pizza's, with a good selection of toppings. There is a small bar. The breakfast is self serve, nice food. The staff are friendly, polite, and helpful. I would stay here again when in the area. ”

“There are not enough superlatives to describe this hotel and its incredible grounds! The food was Excellent - better than the Michelin * restuarants I have been to recently in London and Venice. The grounds are spectacular - all 66 acres of them and its worth visiting just for this alone. The bedrooms are very nice and confortable. We had an Orangery suite which has Aircon. The Main house rooms do not. The staff were superb! Expecially compared to some other much more expensive hotels...
