“Centrally located with spacious rooms and most amenities. However, the decor has dated quickly and the hotel has no real lobby or central area to linger - just a small space to check in and hold luggage. The 2 adjacent restaurants stand alone. The gym is small and seems carved out of a former guest room. Someone has created a hotel out of bits and pieces and a list of what most people want. If convenience is your primary requirement than I can recommend.”

“Everything perfect, clean, in the Centre of Edinburgh; the only suggestion is about the water in the bath sink, it doesn't flow as it should and also the water from the shower should be fixed, it's very slow and twice stopped completely, you have to close it 2 minutes and then it starts again, slowly anyway. Just this, the rest was perfect. ”

“Appartamenti in zona centralissima di Edimburgo, a due passi da Victoria Street. L'appartamento era molto spazioso e abbastanza ben fornito (stoviglie e pentolame sufficiente), all'arrivo era anche abbastanza pulito. Il nostro appartamento affacciava su un vicoletto molto poco frequentato, ma se passa qualcuno che fa rumore o parla a voce alta in camera si sente tutto (una notte abbiamo dovuto sopportare qualche schiamazzo). “Beautiful and cosy place just few steps away from the center. The atmosphere is exactly what you are expecting from a Scottish Hotel. Unfortunately for 2nights we had some problems with the heating and the noise the radiator was making. After the first night, when I showed the reception our concern, they told us that someone would have fixed it. None did. After the second night, at the check out I expressed again our concern and disappointment. The person at the desk checked what was not done....

“Overall the property was good but some things to note. 1. Hot water wasn’t working when we arrived. They had someone over within 2 hours to check it, and did end up fixing it within about 4 hours, it was frustrating after a long travel day. 2. The mattress was not very good and the bedding looked run down. 3.
