“The Horse and Farrier is a great old building with lots of character. The weather was poor when we arrived so couldn’t really see the views unfortunately.
Our room, which I believe has been newly renovated was gorgeous. Really tastefully decorated to compliment the original features like the wood beams. The bathroom had a stunning freestanding claw foot bath.
A special mention to Keith who is super attentive and professional to customers.
Would recommend the Horse and Farrier. ”

“Great B&B quick check in by phoning the number on the door, keys in keybox after owner supplied code,spacious very clean room/beds ,tea & coffee,towels,shower gel,cotton buds & cotton pads (great extra).Great cooked breakfast, very friendly staff, 15 min walk to town centre with loads of restaurants.Free parking at the side of B&B”
“Nice sized room. Matt was such a friendly host. Made my wife and I a great breakfast. Very convenient location to the Keswick market. Only a 5 minute walk. 20 minute drive to Grasmere village. We would definitely stay here again. ”

“Un albergo in posizione isolata, ma vicinissimo a Keswick. Camera molto comoda, pulita con ottimo letto. Colazione super, molto curata. Personale attento e gentile. Abbiamo anche cenato la sera: ristorante sopra le attese, cucina di territorio, raffinata e buona. Ci torneremo senz’altro alla prima occasione. Ambiente curato, pulito e tipico di una Inn di alto livello.”
“Comodo se siete in auto. Vicino a Keswick e a poche miglia da Grasmere Ambleside e Windermere. Pulito e moderno. Colazione abbastanza ricca ma usano prodotti di pulizia scarsi perché i tavoli erano sempre appiccicaticci la mattina. Nel complesso resta un'ottima scelta. ”
