Hotel a Thurman

“Hotel & rooms were very clean, almost immaculate, check in representative was attentive and polite, the balcony area was a pleasant surprise, rocking chairs were a plus! Breakfast was basic, but enjoyable! Definitely would stay here again!”

“The hot tub was great! Manager kept it Open an extra 30 minutes for us because we checked in late.”

“Arrivati alle 21.30 nessuno era presente al desk; suonato diverse volte il campanello ma dopo 5 minuti nessuno si presentava; decido quindi di chiamare al telefono l'hotel ( si fa ridere ) e mi risponde subito un ragazzo, al quale dico di essere al desk di fronte. Dopo due minuti arriva con tutta la calma del mondo e facciamo il checkin. Solo piu'tardi ho visto che aveva una ospite ...”

“Just what we were looking for after a long drive. Clean, quiet and a good breakfast.”

“We especially thought the staff was great. The maintenance man went out of his way to help. What we didn't like was being placed by a family with two large dogs that howled and barked for a good part of the evening. The walls seemed very thin and we could hear everything. The drapes let in a lot of light at the top so the room was quite light at night. and the bathroom fixtures were starting to rust and the toilet lid was lose until the maintenance man came and fixed it. “Basic type of hotel room. Comfortable bed and pillows. The coffee machine wasn’t working well and was at best “weak.” The staff was helpful when we had an issue with our sink. Bottom line: value for the price in Shenandoah and a decent place to bunk!”

“Gym was out of Service. Staff was Just Okay. They were sitting behind the counter on their Phone.”

“The whole place smelled like cigarette smoke, the reception area was a mess and not welcoming. The hotel rooms were being renovated and the crew tried walking into our room twice not knowing it was occupied. When I asked for “do not disturb” door signs, they stated they didn’t have any and ended up marking our door with an X with blue painters tape. Questionable man hanging out in the parking lot by our car. The room however was clean and the beds were comfortable.”

“Friendly but definitely needs updates. It was under new management and met the manager bob and he was really sincere and willing to accommodate. ”
