“The folks at Sens Hotel were so helpful and kind. I canceled one room on Expedia 48 hours before, but it didn't show up as canceled for Hotel Sens', or on Expedia for that matter. Sens canceled the room on their end, then Expedia showed the upcoming refund. The folks at Sens were very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely go back. The hotel is right in the middle of North Berkeley's foodie row.”

“Historical property recently updated. Great location, so close to UC-Berkeley, BART and restaurants. Our only complaint was the trifecta of noise generators in our room - the wall A/C, an auxiliary A/C unit and the loudest small fridge we have ever encountered. But the shower was great, the bed was very comfortable.”

“This is a fairly new, smallish hotel. The room and beds were comfortable. Cleaning staff, if I remember correctly, cleaned the room every other day, which was fine for us. The room with 2 queen beds is long and narrow, with a useful seating area at one end but not much storage, and a bit of a tight squeeze between the bed and the desk. Bathroom is nice and clean. Avrei apprezzato una colazione a buffet anziché quella su ordinazione prevista dalla struttura. “Overall, facilities, views, welcome, and even the pillows on the bed - wonderful! The issue was the mattress. Hard as a rock. I have a firm mattress at home. The mattress that tortured me all night was not firm. I was scouting the resort for a family trip - but wouldn’t put anyone through the sleepless night. I was up and out as early as I could be. I did speak to front desk and even left a message for head of housekeeping, and no response to apologize for the mattress that desperately needs...

“You get what you pay for. Worth what I paid around 160 a night no more. Tv sucks ac sucks, front desk people no where to be found at times, no answer on phone. Runs on a skeleton crew. House cleaning awning excellent, no bed bugs, pretty clean. Parking lot would benefit from a front gate with a passcode or room key system to secure it, its strange that they close one gate and there is no gate on the other side. I would not stay here again based on the poor ac and inability to open the sliding...

“The lampshade was broken in a few places wouldn’t stay upright. The bedspread had a stain and was torn. There were many flies in the room. Dead roaches on the floor. TV had to be turned on by staff, if turned off then on again no reception. Towels very small, no bath size towels. Bed had sheet but no mattress cover, uncomfy. Room smelled like smoke even though I requested non smoking. Nothing was maintained-all very low standard. Did have frig & microwave I didn’t try or use.”

“The lawn before the hotel is terrible and dry, like a desert area! Ugly! Like a building in a poor area! But the room is excellent!”

“Diverso rispetto a quanto descritto. Si parla di cucina attrezzata, ma in realtà non sono presenti pentole o stoviglie. I mezzi pubblici sono vicini ma assai costosi ( tragitto in bus 2,10 dollari a tratta,tragitto in Bart per raggiungere il centro da 3,75 a 5,00 dollari a tratta). Camere spaziose. Spiaggia vicina ma non molto godibile.”
