“Great views, great service and a great atmosphere!”

“Beautiful setting! Walking distance into town. Super quiet rooms. Comfortable beds and nice decor in the room. The lady checking us in was super friendly and helpful with information about the area. There is a walk alongside the river just behind the hotel, beautiful scenery. ”

“Overall it was a really enjoyable stay at the Matterhorn. It was quiet, the rooms were clean and well appointed, and there were plenty of great restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The only thing I think prospective visitors need to know is that while it is a resort town, it looked like there was only one bar open past 10pm. All the other shops/restaurants close around 9pm or so. Other than that, the stay was amazing and the mountain views were absolutely stunning!”

“The entire hotel experience was of the absolute highest quality. I can honestly say it was the best ever in terms of customer service, amenities, location and comfort. The staff were ALL attentive, personable and appeared to be happy doing their best to make you feel at home. The location near the gondolas was very convenient and the surrounding area was like a small European Village with a small pond, cafes and open plaza with evening mini-concerts. “The lodge is more like a hostel in that the bathroom and shower is down the hall from your room. However you have your own private bathroom and shower which are keyed to your room. Be careful not to leave your key in the bathroom or shower since those doors lock without using a key. Overall very clean and comfortable. There are no staff at the desk. It is managed by staff at another motel”
