“The place was so unique and beautifully furnished! We were there with our teenage daughters. The place was clean and had all the things we needed. If you’re traveling in the summer- it was very hot, especially in the upstairs room.”

“Very nice lodgings, plenty of room for 10. The town is very small with almost no dining but centrally located, although the ride to Kilkenny, an enjoyable town, got a bit old. Enjoyed the Kells priory and nearby Kings Mill rest -outstanding Italian food. Also really enjoyed Ormond castle and Cahir castle”

“The castle was even better than expected. We were pleased the moment we drove up. The rooms were all clean and well kept up. Each room was decorated different. Our family was pleased with their rooms. The breakfast room was so inviting in the mornings. We had the caterer for our meals and it was so far beyond what we were expecting. Absolutely delicious. We were gone most days but we did enjoy games of croquet and soccer before dinner. There were many choices of outdoor games available....
