“Una bella struttura moderna a 15 minuti dal castello di Matsumoto e dal suo bellissimo centro storico. Camere ampie dotate di tutti i comfort. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Per chi giunge in auto, comodo parcheggio all'aperto dell'albergo o uno coperto a poca distanza convenzionato. Per visitare Matsumoto questa è un'ottima base. Colazione abbastanza standard e più in linea con i gusti giapponesi. ”

“Great experience, beautiful old building and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Perfectly located on Nakamachi-dori and close to all attractions, including Matsumoto Castle, and plenty of amazing food nearby. A memorable and unique, but all too brief stay, definitely one of the hilights of my time in Matsumoto.”

They don’t allow tattooed people to use the onsen unless you cover them, but the girl at the reception, who was super nice, help me putting the tape on my tattoos and I was able to use the onsen. Good position, close to the Matsumoto Castle and 10 minutes walk from the station. Recommended!”

“Liebevoll geführtes, kleines Hostel in der Mitte von Matsumoto. Sehr wertvolle Tipps für Restaurants, Onsen und Co. in der Umgebung. Dazu gibt es auch Fahrräder, die man sich einfach ausleihen kann. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Japanischen Alpen.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Morschein. Ample space for a 3 person room in Japan, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, and the hotel was very close to the train station. Very friendly staff”

The rooms were spacious (if you’ve traveled in Japan you know the rooms are usually small - I’m 6’2” and I felt comfortable and I could even do stretches on the rattan floor.) Great views from windows that open. We opted for breakfast and dinner included. Deeeellicious! -oishii desu! No 2 multi-course meals were the same, other than they were unique and filling!
