“This property was lovely. Located within a short walk from the train station as well as from the city centre. The staff were incredible, and very friendly. The man working the front desk (I did not catch his name, but he was there the morning of April 1st) was lovely to chat with and very helpful! The room was small but had everything we needed, was very clean. The bed was also very comfortable. The only thing I would not recommend is the continental breakfast. You don’t get much for £10.95,...

“Great experience. The building is quaint, cozy, with a unique design and interior decoration. Beautiful dining area and bar. The room (ground floor), was spacious and with a lovely art deco interior. Very nice shower with good water pressure, nice choice of shower gels and other amenities. The plumbing in the toilet was a bit iffy, but nothing too serious. Very comfortable bed, with soft pillows (this is my preference so I was happy with it). “We arrived around 11:00 am, even though it was too early for check in. The owner allowed us to go ahead and park (for free) and he took our luggage up. We made the walk to town in 10 minutes. When we returned that evening, our luggage was in our room and the snacks and wine we brought were in the fridge. The room was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was extremely clean. Plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. Noise from the street was minimal. We will definitely stay again!!”
