“The staff at the front desk were very helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and very nice. There were two large tiles missing in the shower so that keeps it from being five stars. The location is very convenient in the cemtral part of town and a short walk from the train station. The tradeoff is that it can be loud into the early hours of the morning on Friday and Saturday nights as people going out to local bars congregate by the hotel. It’s just something to be aware of but I would still...

“The clerks were very welcoming and pleasant. Check in was done with a smile comfortably sitting outside on the balcony with a drink. The room assigned to this old guest had a beautiful bathroom but the tub was not practical for me. I was immediately transferred to an equally beautiful room with a balcony with a splendid view of the mountain range AND a very nice walk-in shower. I loved the friendliness and the majestic mountains. Chandolin boutique hotel exceeded my expectations.”

“Staff was very helpful. The one dinner I had there was quite good for being free. Be aware that unless you’re driving to and from the hostel every day it’s quite a hike up the hill from the road. In the winter it’s slick. The room was adequate but my biggest complaint is the shower curtain wasn’t long enough to keep water from flowing onto the bathroom floor which was a bit annoying Overall though a decent cheap place to stay. ”
