Il nostro resort Wisconsin ...

Birch Lake Getaway è un resort appartato di 12 acri con 4 case vacanza sul lago (cabine), tutte elencate su Vrbo e convenientemente situato tra le dolci colline del Wisconsin centrale. Ha un lago di pesca e nuoto alimentato a molla di 3 1/2 acri completo di quattro spiagge, piattaforma di osservazione del lago e baracca sulla spiaggia.

Ci sono anche aree aperte dove abbiamo installato la nostra rete da pallavolo / bad minton, il nostro gazebo, un'altra buca per il fuoco e tanto spazio per qualsiasi altra cosa tu possa avere in mente.

Per gruppi più numerosi Birch Lake può ospitare fino a 44 persone durante la notte per matrimoni, ritiri aziendali, riunioni di famiglia, gite in chiesa e qualsiasi altro tipo di grandi incontri.

Ciao gente:

Siamo Sally e Terry. È stata una grande benedizione imbattersi in questa bellissima proprietà di 12 acri nel 1995. Anche se l'unica comodità qui era una dependance (incluso nessun impianto idraulico o elettricità!) ci siamo innamorati delle dolci colline e del bellissimo lago. Come ex abitanti delle città e abbandoni aziendali che avevano fatto la scelta di uscire dal traffico e dal rumore, ci siamo diretti verso il paese con nulla di specifico in mente se non quello di allontanarci da tutto.

Partire da zero è stata un'avventura in cui nei successivi dieci anni, Birch Lake iniziò lentamente a svilupparsi. È stato molto divertente cogliere le opportunità per la semplice fuga nella natura; Che vanno dal sentiero nei boschi, la piccola cascata e il ponte sull'acqua. Fu a causa di queste idee in cui nacque Birch Lake. Quando abbiamo iniziato a offrire questa esperienza agli altri, ci siamo espansi, aggiungendo una cabina dopo l'altra. Tutti e 4 sono elencati su Vrbo. Avere ogni cabina accuratamente progettata per integrarsi e adattarsi all'ambiente circostante. È stato davvero un piacere ricevere il dono della fiducia che apprezziamo profondamente dai nostri ospiti. I ricordi affettuosi che i nostri ospiti creano sono ciò che compone l'atmosfera di Birch Lake e delle sue cabine.

Lake was Green

The cabin was clean and very nice and as described. Any questions i had were answered immediately through email. There was no check-in process. We did not meet anyone. When we asked for help with the paddle boat a worker immediately came.There was a smell like sulfur in the cabin. We determined it was from the well water. There were scented candles on the mantle. The hot tub water was slightly green the first day, Tuesday, and clear the second day. There was no chlorine in the hot tub. It smelled like the well water. The most dissappointing part was that the lake was green like pea soup. We did not swim. There is an aerator in the center of the lake but it seems ineffective. The cabin was nicely furnished, the bed comfortable, the bathroom modern and very clean. The path to the cabin was a mix of stones and bricks and was too uneven for my disabled husband to walk safely. The internet was poor. The satellite TV did not work during the storm or rain. Otherwise, it worked fine. The washer and dryer were a nice convenience.

Winter getaway

Our trip was enjoyable and relaxing. The cabin was quant and clean and comfortable. My boyfriend wanted to ice fish in a lake, but this is really a pond. It was not frozen, but we still enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing together. We took a drive into Tomah and went to the cheese shop and antique store. The area of the cabin was pretty and there was a nice trail to walk. The whole area was safe and peaceful!

Check everything at check in

The location is beautiful! The cabin is a great size and needs more basic amenities. We did contact the host in regards to blood on mattress covers and a comforter.. this was not remedied until the next day. We had to try to use the spare bedding that was clean to still use the sofa sleepers. Other than that, being unsanitary, the rest of the little things we worked with. Need to bring everything from home for your stay (toilet paper, dish soap, scrub brush, towels, hand soap..etc)

Ranch stay

The property manager was very nice, when we got to the location, we went to the wrong cabin, Terry personally came and told us where we had ended up at the wrong location. When we couldn't figure out the TV, he sent his property maintenence person right away to show us how to work the dish. The facility in general nice but could use some updating, not complaining just an observation.

Overall it was a good stay. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, a bit too firm for me. The hot tub was very nice, we used it daily during our stay. The fireplace worked very well. A few updates would be nice. Bluetooth speakers for outside would be nice. A few of the outside lights did not work. It would have been nice to have the fire pit in a more private location.

Ranch cabin

The cabin is located on a beautiful piece of property in a secluded area. However the cabin decor was outdated and needed a good cleaning. Floors were dirty, inside cabinets were dirty. Blinds and curtains were dusty. Windows needed washing. The glass ware that was provided was a hodgepodge of different pieces . The pillows with the bedding were old and flat. Not comfortable at all. We made the best of our stay and had a great time.

Cozy Getaway

The cabin was very comfortable for the two of us for the weekend. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening, and the wild life in the morning, drives through country, and shopping in Tomah.

Secluded cabin with lots to do!

Check in was a breeze. Communication was super timely with replies. Cabin was in an absolutely beautiful area of Tomah WI. Lots to do near by and places to grab anything you may have forgotten to bring. The cabin was quaint and comfy. Hot tub was clean and the perfect addition to our stay. The paddle boat for the lake was so fun and light weight so easily put into the water and take out. Fridge was so cold and kept everything cold or frozen that we needed. Coffee maker was perfect! what needed to be done at checkout was easily done in less than 5 mins which was so nice. we left behind a roll of toilet paper, one garbage bag that was brand new and some charcoal and fluid for the grill for the next guests- hope that was ok. The bed was huge and comfy! We hiked the little trail by the beach, enjoyed the lake, the dock and the fire pit. Also- the radio that’s inside and out is amazing and now something I want at my house haha! We will be back but with some friends at the larger cabin because we enjoyed the resort that much! Thank you for allowing us to make a weekend full of memories at your resort - loved every moment!

Great Time

The family had a wonderful time. There were a few issues that came up some of which I fixed myself. I would have contacted the PM but was unable due to service. Did not mind not having service. Maybe a quiet time be set because of some younger guests that arrived. Other than them, it was a quiet and relaxing time.

Not as expected

We were a little disappointed with our cabin. It was stated that the kitchen was fully stocked, but it was far from it. Plan on bringing everything you think you’re going to need, because there sure wasn’t much there. I’m talking about supplies, not food. The lake was totally different than the pictures also. It was scummy and is more of a pond than a lake. The hot tub is old, but it worked, although the water wasn’t the cleanest, which was a turnoff. The very first day there we realized we had a mouse in the house, which got into some of our food. One good thing about this place is that it was quiet, probably because we might have been the only renters there that week.

Our stay was good, if you want out of the way and fairly private this cabin is the one! Beautiful views just as the pictures show. Check in was extremely simple although I got confused because it was so simple. Cabin did have a musty smell but after we opened it up and used the carpet fresh we found it was ok.
