“The Occidental Lodge is a very charming, old-school lodge that is well-maintained and absolutely spotless. “Great hotel!”

“The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Those are always my main concerns in a hotel. The check in attendant was friendly, professional and helpful. I would most definitely go back to this facility if I return to Petaluma. I would give it five stars if there had been more electrical outlets. As a photographer (and there was two of us) there’s always lots of camera batteries and other equipment to be charged. “Rooms weren’t completely clean. There were spots on the bedding. Wi-Fi was spotty. Couldn’t leave fast enough.”

“Very clean room, which was my primary concern, especially with budget hotels. However, we found the staff to be unhelpful and a bit rude. The “continental breakfast” is just granola bars and some bananas, nothing hot. So don’t expect much. Like I said, though, the room was clean!”
