“Good stay. Air conditioning was a little difficult to control but was working also water never really got hot in shower. But stay was good and hotel was clean”

“The staff was extremely nice and always willing to help. The woman working breakfast was just fantastic. Rooms were clean and adequate. I felt that our charge for the room was very fair. Our only concern was area seems to be changing. Closed businesses or ones that usually come in when decline begins. ”

“Our first stay at one of your properties. There seemed to be a few things missing…a clock in the room, shower gel, and make up remover wipes. These are regularly included in other hotels where we’ve stayed. The breakfast was very good and Warren, the breakfast attendant, was very helpful and kept items well stocked and extremely clean. He makes a very good waffle too. Our room was very comfortable and the staff pleasant and helpful.”

“Would have rated this higher except that there were a couple of times that I smelled cigarette smoke near the entrance due to workers smoking right outside the front door (one time I saw the worker, the other time it seemed that way but I didn't see it, just could smell it by the breakfast area). Would suggest not allowing workers to smoke that close to the entrance. I am a big fan of Holiday Inn Express & Suites and probably the main reason is due to how smoke-free they keep their hotels.”

“I wasn't expecting something fancy for the price I paid but these premises need a lot of maintenance, I would have slept there if there was no humidity but the smell of it was unbearable even tho we swapped room 3 times .. I think this was my only time here .”

“This is a hotel that needs some updates. The drain in the bathtub was very slow. The faucet had to be in a perfect position or would drip. The carpet was well worn and the walls had ripped wallpaper and the woodwork was well worn. The hallway had a strange odor. Breakfast was not a typical Choice hotel breakfast. There were very few choices and like many hotels if you are diabetic your choices are almost nil. At least they recognize they are not a 5 star hotel. On the back of every hotel...

“The beds were terrible. Sunk down in the middle. The lights above the bed did not work. Tried to turn the shower on and the knob just spun. When we asked for maintenance, they informed us that maintenance wouldn’t be there til 10:00. We were trying to leave. So my husband asked for a screw driver and he fixed the shower. We should have our room charge refunded!”

“While the hotel is recently renovated, it still isn’t great. Many of the doors had lock issues - we spoke with several people who experienced key & lock issues during their stay. We experienced it 3 times. The pool is still under renovations, which was disappointing for the kids. But, when I looked back, I didn’t see the pool advertised which made me feel a little better. We stayed here because our whole team stayed - not because we picked it. The front door design is not friendly with luggage...

“This is the 3rd time we have used this hotel only due to its closeness to our location and price. They require a $100 deposit they dont tell you about until you check in. The first time our room was dirty, floors, sink and tub. 2nd time we had rather large roaches in the room. We were assured the previous issues had been rectified so gave them another chance. “The price was low and you get what you pay for. This is a very basic hotel, which was fine for our needs. No lobby - the check-in area is a window (like a bank teller) with limited hours. My elderly parents thought the mattresses were too thin and uncomfortable. Rooms are basic but they're not run down nor smelly. Walls are on the thin side, but for the price it was fine.”
