Family Friendly, Pet Friendly peaceful stay in Central Topeka - easy access to all of town. Two kitchens - great for multiple families to stay together. With 2 queen beds, a living room with a sofa bed, and 2 bathrooms equipped with a shower and bathtub, this property offers a nice and wonderful stay for guests.

Our stay had its highs and lows, but overall, it was a pretty pleasant experience. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and we always felt safe during our time there. While there were a few housekeeping issues, the host was very responsive and addressed our concerns quickly. They were also receptive to feedback, which we hope helps improve the property moving forward. All in all, our stay wasn’t bad, and we appreciate the host’s efforts to make things right

Was in town for family wedding. The house was amazing, perfect for our family. The host was great, I needed to reach out to him a couple times, he responded very quickly. Will definitely stay here again next time we come to Topeka.

Smooth stay in Avalon House

Home is much larger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Excellent layout with virtually two homes in one with full kitchen upstairs and downstairs. We had many activities to attend and were always looking forward to going back to Avalon house to relax in the accommodating living room. Look forward to return trip to Topeka and staying at Avalon house again!

Modern, Comfy, Clean & Easy to Access

My husband and I just stayed at the Avalon Gage house with our older aunt and uncle. It was important for us to have a ground floor bedroom for their accommodations, and as the four of us are from very warm climates we're outdoor friendly and took full advantage of cute landscaped yard and screened in back porch area.  We found the home and kitchen to be very well appointed. The upstairs bed was comfortable and the downstairs bedroom and additional living space gave us ample room to spread out or break out into more private settings. If you like a firm mattress, the downstairs bedroom is right for you! We loved having two full bathrooms, which can be hard to find in Topeka homes. The property is also very well located within town and easy to access. We also felt very safe in the neighborhood. The air-conditioning kept us cool during our summer stay and we enjoyed watching the fireflies from the the screened in back porch in the evenings. If ever traveling back to Topeka, we would stay again.
