Motel a Toronto

“Clean large room. No carpets in the room, which was nice. Nice soaker tub with jets but could not get the plunger to stay down to enjoy it. Very quiet from the outside world, didn’t hear a truck or plane. Breakfast was nice. You need to eat all food in their dining room, cannot take anything to your room. Be expected to show every adult ID that is staying in the room. 4 of us had to show ours and have it photocopied. They said it was company policy.”

“Awful experience. Rooms haven’t been cleaned since the 90’s. Filthy floors, filthy furniture. Staff lying saying “no rooms available”. TVs didn’t work in two rooms. Crack addicts and alcoholics hovering in the parking lot. In the morning I got kicked out - they claim they are “fumigating” the motel for bedbugs. (AKA World Cup in a few days and pricing increasing). Never got the “free wifi” code either. Fridge was warm, maybe not even plugged in. The showers were scalding hot, to freezing cold....

“If you want to wake up at 2:30am, then at 3:30am with a truck running its engine and beaming its lights into your room then this is your place. At least have black out curtains as opposed to flimsy blinds that don't really do anything. Another idea would be to post a sign on the outside wall that says no idling and turn lights off.”
