The property is located in Torquay part of what has become known as The English Riviera. Torquay sits on Tor Bay which provides a sheltered seaside experience. Torquay is the largest of the English Riviera towns and is a vibrant and busy resort town which provides visitors with an all year round experience. There are dozens of attractions and scores of wonderful bars and restaurants.

The property is surrounded by nearly three quarters of an acre of gardens and guests have access to most of this space. The Rose Garden at the side of the property is free for all to use as is the large lower garden at the back of the property. This area is known by locals as Wellswood Village. Close by (and only a ten minute walk from Muntham are the World famous Kent's Cavern - prehistoric caves.

Muntham is a beautiful Victorian house that has survived the years in tact and with most of its stunning original features. It is a tranquil and restful place and makes an ideal base from which to explore The English Riviera and other parts of south Devon and the south west of England.
