“Appears to be short staffed...frequently sign at front check-in/desk rather than person. Proud of their old elevator...but floor of elevator frequently misaligns with room level floor making luggage cart useless. Access to our room was hindered by misaligned hardware - inside bolt and locking mechanism. Took a shoulder push to enter. Antiques abound. So if that is your thing...enjoy them. “Not enough convenient outlets and outlets need to be repaired. Blackout curtains would help cut down the outside lights.”

“It was passable, but don't set your expectations very high. The carpet didnt lay flat, and the flooring by the tub curling up. It's seen better days. The breakfast is only a prepackaged Svenhard's Danish. No prepared coffee with breakfast so you have to make it yourself in the room with the small machine. Next time we go wine tasting in the area we'll be looking for something a little better.”

“The website needs to be updated. Part of the hotel looked abandoned and at first we thought it was closed. We chose this hotel because of location to a wedding, and the beautiful photos of the pool and jacuzzi that we talked up for the grandkids. Sadly, the pool and jacuzzi were inoperable. When discussed with the front desk we were told that the pump had blown and the owner hadn't gotten around to getting it fixed. “This hotel was as expected. Nothing fancy. But the staff was kind and helpful, bathroom fairly clean, and the bed was comfortable.”

“The staff was very helpful. The room was very nice lots of room and it was clean. And for breakfast, they had a large selection and everything tasted great.Very cute small town. We had left like Tahoe and wanted a place to stay between there in San Francisco and Placerville was the perfect place.”

“Biggest reason I was there was because it's literally around the corner of Moonraker Millhouse! Discovering Wallys was a huge added bonus. Tucked away so parking was easy. If anything it's a great pit stop. I love that I had a kitchenette. Fridge came in handy.”

“I just like to say that the staff for the breakfast was awesome. Very helpful to me. She went and got me ice, and then I had broken a fingernail and she went to look for some glue for me. Very nice. She was great. The only thing I could say is we did have mosquitoes in our room, but they didn’t bother us. I killed some of them, which is OK we just couldn’t open the sliding door because they came in through that overall it was great being there. Everyone was great.”
