“The hotel restaurant, Bistro 39, was fantastic. The service was friendly, the food was fresh and the atmosphere was comfortable. Our room was big and the bed was very comfortable, even though it was a little squeaky. We didn't have a table on the left side of the bed, and when asked about it, the staff graciously accommodated us with one. It was nice and quiet. “We picked this hotel because it had a restaurant and Starbucks on site as well as a heated pool. They seemed not to have trained staff or enough staff. The cafe worker didn’t know how to make even the drinks on the menu. The salad was wrong lettus and wilted. See the photos. Above the spa the glass dome was broken above our heads so we were nervous that it would break more and fall on us. The pool was definitely not heated and was as cold as ice. My kid swims in cold water but even to cold for...

“ Check in very easy as well as check out. Shout out to Mike, who was very helpful and sweet even gave us options on what to do in San Diego. Absolutely love the breakfast good quality and complimentary. I am deducting points because you charge for parking and secondly, you’re adding tax to parking. Never have I been somewhere where they’re charging me tax on the parking! Note to the hotel offer free parking to your guests and if you’re going tocharge us, don’t add any more tax to that!!”

“Parking lot: big dog poop, homeless people hanging out. One night the police were in the parking lot watching. Room: pungent smell when opening the door. We had to air out the room for quite some time. We were not sure about insects, but they ended up not being any so we stayed. Appeared to be a halfway house and a lot of commotion going on. I would never go back and advise anyone to go in.”
