  • Enjoy this private oasis at the summit of Cream Hill, nestled in picturesque Northwest CT. This property, at the end of a private drive, showcases spectacular mountain views of the surrounding area and the distant Catskill Mountains. The house offers numerous common areas and features an expansive deck ideal for taking in wildlife and beautiful evening sunsets. Numerous outdoor activities await, including skiing at Mohawk Ski Area, hiking the Appalachian Trail, or just breathing the fresh air. Meander across the rural, picturesque landscapes to nearby quaint villages with working farms and markets. We do have outside cameras for security purposes.

Very comfortable stay. Everything was perfect and we had such a warm welcome. The house was warm and cozy with modern comforts and attention to detail. The house was spotless, super clean with a well equipped kitchen. Communication was excellent and we hope to return!

I wish all short term rentals were like this one. This is my new standard for expectations. The house was super clean, the beds were comfortable, the supplies were plentiful, the amenities were great. The house rules for check in, the stay and check out were crystal clear and simple especially checking out. It was basically what we would have done if we were staying with family. I strongly recommend this house for anyone who wants to stay in the area.

This was one of the best VRBO locations I have ever stayed at. The hosts were amazing—free flowers and a basket of snacks at check in, nearly daily communication asking if anything needed clarification. The house was extremely well stocked with just about anything you could need, and the views were majestic. I would absolutely stay here again. In fact, I would consider purchasing it for our retirement getaway if it ever came on the market!!

Such a lovely home with beautiful vistas. It had everything one needs for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The kitchen was well stocked and made it easy to make our meals. The Wi-Fi and cable functioned well plus we had access to a washer and dryer. The hosts were exceptionally responsive. We appreciated the peace of mind they provided when we needed help upon our arrival. We explored the local area with its covered bridge and nearby state park. My husband even tried out his kite flying skills with the kite made available to us. The expansive open landscape was perfect for it. Lastly, the deck was amazing and provided hours of peaceful enjoyment taking in the beauty of Mother Nature both day and night. We truly look forward to a future stay.

This property was perfect after long days on track at Lime Rock Park. Only 10 minutes away from the track with room for 2 couples and a single. The view is spectacular all day long but sunsets are the best. The house was clean, well stocked and we had no issues. Communication with the host was clear and concise. Use of the garage was an added bonus. I highly recommend and hope to be back next May.

What a wonderful place to stay!! House was comfortable, clean, and spacious - exactly as the pictures show. Karen and Larry were very attentive (especially re: the snow that came and making sure it was cleared off the drive and decks) and left a goodie basket in the kitchen.The view is fantastic and we lucked out weather-wise despite the forecasts and got some lovely night shots of the stars. Overall, one of the best VRBOs I have stayed in.

This was our second year staying at this beautiful home. Communication was fantastic, amenities were great. A lot of little extras that really make it welcoming. The home is clean and well cared for. The view is spectacular. We will be coming back again!

Amazing West Cornwall Home

I stayed here with my wife and we were simply amazed by the views from the back deck. It certainly felt like a home with a lot of space for activities and is somewhere we'd love to visit again.

We are frequent fliers at this property, as it’s our home away from home when we compete @ Limerock Park Raceway several times a year. We couldn’t believe our great fortune to find this spacious and well appointed property, with wonderful, attentive hosts that make our time in the area a dream. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the place to anyone spending time in this beautiful part of western CT.
