“This is a really beautiful place and the room was enormous and the layout was so in keeping with the heritage level of the building. There was a tea set for tea or coffee, a king sized bed, a sofa for relaxing and a bath. Total luxury!”

“Being on hotels.com i expected this to be at a much greater standard than this. It really is a bnb rather than a hotel. It is in a beautiful rural setting with expansive view but the facilities are old and tired. Much less than i expected.”

“Great location, property has been renovated recently, plenty of parking spaces, easy walk to everything, best people managing it, the next door bar was quite noisey outside but couldn't hear a single sound inside the room. Insulation very good. Everything closed early in town so night time was very peaceful and safe too.”

“Beautiful spot by the river with river walk and kayaks for hire - we stayed in pet friendly cabin with bunks for 5, fridge and good supply of crockery but lots of other camping options including lovely glam tents with private balconies overlooking the river - cool communal dining area with pizza oven and trays of pizza making - staff very helpful and allowed early check-in”

“Spacious suite overlooking dense greenery - like staying in a treehouse! Super nice hosts, easy walk to the historic part of town, good wifi/tv, large, comfortable bed, wonderfully dark and quiet at night, easy parking. Gorgeous communal space - would be super if travelling or meeting with a group.”

“Room was clean and tidy , although it had ,had a make over the workmanship was average . Broken mixer tap on hot tub which made adjusting water temperature impossible ( no cold water to cool it down). The shower head was well past needing replacement . Street appeal was mared by a dirty old mattress out front . Room heating was very good .”
