“The staff was nice and tried hard to please. But the motel property and it's location though were not ideal. The room we had was very dated, the carpet needs a good clean or wash, the toilet has a layer of light brown on the bottom, the noises from the road outside kept us awake late night and early in the morning. We were rather disappointed. ”

“We got in to Whangarei late, and after a little bit of a challenge trying to find the entrance, we found the front desk. From there our experience was great. The staff were welcoming, talked to us about the parking, and chatted to us about where to find some great restaurants (within easy walking distance). “Very clean but sink and carpet stains”

“It a very comfortable motel, you have what you need in a structure that is not new or fancy, but good enough to welcome you well. We spent three night here, and we are satisfied. The staff is super welcomed and very gentle and you can ask what you need if you don't find it. Very clean. I think we can come back again in future. Thanks ”

“Ho trovato tutto quanto era previsto: ambienti spaziosi e forniti di tutto quanto necessita sia in bagno sia in zona cucina. Il motel dista 1,5 km dal centro ma a pochissima distanza si trovano due supermercati e vari fast food e pizzerie. La piscina è piccola ma pulita, il Wi-Fi un po’ lento, ma i pregi turistici della zona di Whangārei (kiwi museum specialmente) fanno soprassedere a trascurabili piccoli difetti”

“Room is very clean. Luke handled our check in for our late arrival and greeted us as we were arriving. Helped us with getting our key from lock box and with a great parking spot! And a bottle of wine awaiting for us in our room, too! How kind and thoughtful! Also Luke had met our request for extra pillows, and left a trolly in our room so we could get all our luggage etc from our car to our room!”

“Well maintained rooms, it was clean and tidy fresh towels and face cloths daily. The staff were very polite. Would go back and stay there again worth the amount paid.”

“Online info to contact hotel direct - very poor. On arrival, grateful to considerate receptionist for moving two senior guests to a room not requiring stairs. A microwave and bottle of cold water in the room would be helpful especially when arriving after dining room closed. ”
