I enjoy the electricity and stove in the cabin, but I also like the shared bathrooms and group campfire that give it a camp feel. I felt very safe as a solo traveler, and I had a good time trying out one of the kayaks that are available for guests.”

“This cabin is so cute and cozy! Oh how I wish I could stay longer!! Would happily live in this cabin forever lol. Amenities are great, you have everything you'd want or need in there. The bathroom/shower was so nice and warm with a built in heater, hot water, and high pressure. Fireplace is great if you know what you're doing and it was just cool enough for us to enjoy. Jeff and his dog are a hoot :) thanks for having us!”

“Don’t tell anyone, but this property is fantastic! Our party loved everything about it. We tried to book it for next year but it was already taken. The cabin is well appointed, the lake is pristine and provided us with plenty of fish, the sauna was enjoyable and having the use of the canoe was great. “My 2 teen age grandsons (14 & 17) made our 2nd annual grouse hunting trip to Northern MN. Despite rainy conditions, they had a great time, bringing 8 ruffed grouse back to Blaine, MN to share with family! Yum! Cabin was just as listed in VRBO—older but clean, comfortable beds, nice appliances. Owners pleasant and helpful. Thank you!”

“The communication prior to arrival was awesome and Jay helped us with our reservations even. The resort had everything we needed and was perfect for our young girls to explore. They played in the sand, went fishing, and played with other kids that were staying in the cabins. Definitely planning to be back!”

“Had a wonderful annual holiday with friends. If we weren’t hoping to add another couple next year we would book same again but we need a second shower with more people. The house is spacious and homey and kitchen had everything we needed to cook fish all week. Docks are well maintained and porch and fire pit area were well- enjoyed. We even took the kayak and paddle board for a spin. It was really hard to leave!”

“This was the worst VRBO experience I have ever had. The day of my stay I had to message for directions to the cabin. Directions were not sufficient and I had no cell service. I ended up paddling to the cabin (to the “left of the dock” as I was told). It was raining and I couldn’t find the key that was supposed to be under the steps of the deck. I had no cell service and disk was approaching so I had to drive back to town and call. The host didn’t respond to my messages. I called VRBO and they...
