“I broke a bone in my foot on the way to Milwaukee. Upon arriving, I could barely walk and couldn’t stand the pain and foot continued swelling. We were there a total of 15 minutes and needed to check out so I could go to urgent care and head home. The front desk was of zero help and no partial refund was given.”

“We arrived and the property looks nothing like the pictures and is located in an area that does not seem safe. We checked in and they said it would be another $100 - after I questioned it they told me they didn’t charge me for it (I’ve come to find out that is false.) We get to our floor and the smell of weed is over powering, once we enter our room and shut the door we find what seems to be dried blood on the wall and red stains on the floor below. We left and did not stay.”

It's not posted on Expedia that we are charged $250 authorization for incidentals versus the $100 they authorize others. As I've worked in hotels in this area for over 10 years', this was very odd to me. I always felt like we were being watched when I wasn't problematic and gave no issues during my stay. “Such a cute hotel with so many different lounge areas. I had 3 kids and we had fun grilling on the patio while we played bags and later watched the World Cup games by the fire. A really nice atmosphere and such a nice hotel. Staff was friendly, rooms were perfect. Definitely a must stay!”

“Our room was nice (2 queen beds). Only thing was that there were what appeared to be a small blood stain on my friends sheets. Also, we paid the extra $$ for breakfast that was NONEXISTENT. Suppose to be cereal, pancake and waffle maker, fruits, yogurt and pastries, coffee & juices. Nothing was available! All that was there were these little tiny donut balls and some coffee. Very very disappointing! Tried to get a refund on that but the person working the front desk had no idea how to do that...
