“We were given a room with the shortest shower head. Also the pool and hot tub never got hot the whole week so we were not able to use it and we booked this for my husbands birthday and he loves hot tubs so that was a bummer. Also lots of things around the room were falling apart. Even the lamp post on the grounds was rusted away and looked like it could fall any moment. We did love the location though. “Lovely setting and the room was excellent. The check in is with a kiosk, not a favorite of any traveler. The breakfast offers a lot of choices and the coffee is good. What you don't anticipate is all the taxes local/state/resort fees that will add about $80 to your room per day. ”

“The owner was rude and argumentative. The toilet was clogged when we checked in. Staff refused to come to room, changed us to another room after we complained. Told us another room was blocked off due to clogged plumbing. Refused to provide receipt upon check out. Will never return and will tell others about the poor service.”

“I liked the style of the house and the decorations. I loved the concept of eating breakfast at the dinner table with other guests. My only complaint was that we did not know how to get tv stations on our nice TV. The instructions on the tv were not helpful. It was the inn keeper’s day off. We were given instructions on how to contact her if there were any problems, which we decided not to do. ”

“Beautiful location, beautiful rooms. Free smores by the firepit is a great idea, make sure you show up for it every night. Cheapest and best hotel in town. ”
