Coming to Townsville for work or play need a laundry/fast internet/more space then a hotel room this might be ideal for you, 1 bedroom house 1-2 adults only sorry no children, (Small dog is ok see house rules got a large dog check with us first)Clean and tidy and quite comfy ,looking for a central pad a stone's throw to everything Townsville has to offer that is ready for your arrival, fully equipped kitchen, all linen, fast free unlimited Wi-Fi Large comfy 3 seat sofa large HD 4k TV , King size bed Split air-conditioning to living room and bedroom, full laundry with wash machine Dryer and laundry tub 24Hr self-check in, this might be better alternative to a small poky hotel room and maybe cheaper, You will have plenty of room here, very original 1 bedroom miners cottage for 1-2 adults only. (See photos are accurate Note since the bedroom photo a split system A/C has been installed in July), located in a quiet street in South Townsville. fully Furnished this is very very budget older style original basic miners cottage it is really not flash, we call it as it is no surprises (we intended to knock it and rebuild but that will have to wait for now) maybe take a drive past or view on google maps, located very close to city /Port and strand, the cowboy's stadium (20min walk) just a short drive minutes away and with the Townsville boat park boat ramps and jetties with BBQ areas only a 2min walk away, the cottage has a front veranda with outdoor setting,
1 bedroom with a king Bed
Cleaned and made up for your arrival with all linen and towels.
Bedroom Ceiling fan.
Fast unlimited WiFi m
Large A/C split system in living room which also cools the bedroom.
New split AC to the bedroom
Living room with ceiling fan 4k wall mounted TV with stan movies on demand 3 seat sofa
Basic Kitchen is fully equipped large fridge freezer stove microwave toaster kettle.
Dining area with table and chairs
Good Laundry with washing machine and large tumble dryer.
Bathroom is very basic shower vanity and toilet.
Veranda outdoor table and chairs.

Bringing your furry friend, no problem we will accept 1 small pet only with conditions and there is a pet fee, pets must be included in your booking. yard is mostly fully fenced and quite large I recommend keeping your pet on the front veranda the yard is fully fenced except for the front driveway, the yard has bindies we are trying to remove them without success so far. Feel free to contact me for more information before booking.

Life saver

My partner, dog, and I were in desperate need of dog friendly accommodation in Townsville as we had just moved here. Unluckily for us it happened to be a big weekend in Townsville with a V8 race on and Bill and Carolyn were our last hope. The house is small, but perfect for a couple. It's well located being only a few minutes into town. Is it the nicest and most modern house? No, and the pictures don't lie and the hosts don't mix any words. But the house, like the owners, were upfront and honest. It's stocked with everything you'll need, the wifi is indeed fast, the place and furnishing were clean, what more could you ask for? We were very happy with our stay and it got us out of a real bind. The place has its own charm. Couldn't be happier.

Good place to stay in townsville

We had a short stay , needed somewhere close to the city centre and pet friendly with unlimited wifi that works , this place was exactly as advertised certainly not flash but for the price much better than a poky hotel room , good unlimited Wi-Fi good tv with Stan/Netflix kitchen has all you need comfy bed great laundry and a pleasant front deck very quiet area. the yard did have bindies but was not a problem for us , the clothesline was rusty but as there is a large tumble dryer also was not a problem. Nice green space and fishing jetty just a few minutes’ walk away.
