Hotel a Trabuco Canyon

“I expected a much nicer room for the price. The toilet kept running until we finally got someone to fix it. The air conditioner turned off the first night. It was quite a long walk to our room due to a limited number of stairways. The pool was nice. But the third day of our stay the pool had over 30 people in it from one group making it impossible to swim. Very overpriced.”

“Overall it was okay. Parking is down the ramp under and in back of the Inn and Suites. When exiting the parking you can only turn right and there is left turn into the driveway. The air conditioning is difficult to set, the bed was to soft, the TV kept freezing, there was an odor of vaping or smoking marijuana in the hallway, and a woman followed me asking for cigarettes. It was quiet at night, the staff was polite, and felt pretty safe. Troy Burger next door has good food and coffee. It's...

“Room size is a bit on the smaller side, felt a little cramped. Rooms do not come with a microwave (suites do, it's an upgrade). If you need to heat food you have to do so in the lobby (community microwave). They do not offer free breakfast, and they nickel and dime for everything. Parking is not free. Staff, well, let's just say there is one staff member that goes above and beyond and is super friendly (forgot her name). When booking for this location, I used a third party site to do so...

“The area was great… so we checked in, we got the room with a king bed and a sofa bed. To start bed pillow had a bunch of white short hair I’m assuming it was Cat’s hair nasty and all along the carpet obviously they didn’t vacuum. Luckily we weren’t allergic. The other big issue and very important the sofa mattress I had to switch with my son since the mattress was completely uncomfortable and they were brand new according to the hotel staff. “Clean, compact rooms with all of the amenities. Surprise parking fee of $7 per night in an ample lot in a semi suburban setting so it seems like a money grab. Otherwise no objections.”
