“Yes, the room (126) was dated but it was also spotless. I have stayed at much newer hotels that couldn't touch the cleanliness of this room! Staff was excellent. Having the convenience to simply open the back door and walk out to a pet yard at 3am for my pup to potty was really nice. We will stay here again on our next visit. ”

“I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. Lisa, the innkeeper, was very helpful and friendly. Beth, the Manager and breakfast chef was super hospitable. With the beach just a short walk away...we...

“Upon arrival, Thomas was on task and knowledgeable. Check in was easy. He told me about the specials in the bistro attached to the hotel. I didn't know they had a restaurant. My breakfast was in the bistro. Thomas B was my waiter and did an outstanding job getting me served quickly. The food was great. I highly recommend the Sea Ranch Resort to anyone visiting the Outer Banks!”

“Overall this place is great, maintenance was going on on the outside of building. Door jams need work. Doors didn’t close good. But loved the no key or card key entry. (Touch pad code). And quiet and peaceful.”
