Situato tra le dolci colline del Tennessee, appena oltre il confine statale NC ea 20 minuti di auto dal centro di Boone, si trova una delle fattorie più belle della zona. Questo casale in stile anni '40 è semplice e rustico e invita gli ospiti a rilassarsi e ad apprezzare le meraviglie della natura. Completa con una vasca di ferro a piedini, un'altalena del portico e una stufa a legna del Vermont, la casa contiene molte caratteristiche che riflettono il suo fascino accogliente. Una sorgente gorgogliante, rane cinguettanti, stagno di pesci, campi di mucche, sentieri escursionistici personali e deliziosi fiori selvatici circondano la proprietà. A pochi passi c'è un grande fienile dove gli ospiti possono intrattenere, completo di un bar e un palcoscenico per coloro che desiderano invitare l'intrattenimento o mettere su un proprio spettacolo.

Questa proprietà può anche servire come un meraviglioso rifugio da campeggio o una vacanza per chi cerca pace e tranquillità per meditare, scrivere, creare ecc. Abbiamo anche un collegamento camper. Il campo da golf Red Tail è a soli 5 minuti di distanza, numerosi negozi di antiquariato sono sparsi in tutta l'area e ci sono molte attività turistiche e attrazioni disponibili nella zona circostante. Boone, nella Carolina del Nord, si trova a breve distanza in auto dalla fattoria ed è sede dell'Appalachian State University. Il campus offre molte attività culturali, atletiche ed educative. Downtown Boone è una vivace cittadina con ottimi ristoranti e negozi caratteristici. Nonno Mountain è a soli 30 minuti insieme alle città di Banner Elk e Foscoe, con molte opportunità per sciare e dedicarsi ad altri sport invernali. Non dimenticare di dare un'occhiata al Blue Ridge Parkway, che offre viste infinite, splendide vedute e sentieri escursionistici!

Quite and beautiful

It was a great experience, wish we could’ve stayed longer. We got to see a little snow dusting, and made everything perfect. The house is beautiful and the land is perfect. Will definitely be back to experience it again with a longer stay.

Peaceful and quiet

Property was very quiet, private and peaceful. Everything was clean and was promised. Everything was perfect! The host was also very accommodating and allowed us to check in early. Even the toilet paper was nice. I don't know why every other VRBO I've ever stayed at supplied the cheapest and most terrible toilet paper made!

Beautiful property

The house at White Fence Farm is incredibly charming! The entire house is furnished with a really beautiful collection of curated antiques. It's an old house (1930s?), so a bit drafty, but there are plenty of heaters and the Vermont wood stove warms the entire living & dining areas. The actual farm is a beautiful property with hills, trails, and places to hang around a bonfire. Lots of room for kids and dogs to run around. It snowed during our visit and the kids spent a lot of time sledding. I removed a star because we were unable to use the kitchen. There was an issue with dead mice under the cabinets. The owner and maintenance were quick to respond and did everything they could to address the situation while we were staying. We understand that is the nature of a farmhouse, and luckily we were able to cook all meals on the grill or fire outside.

Quick family trip

My family and I stayed her for a quick weekend trip to Boone. The home was a fantastic hidden gem. The setting is gorgeous and an easy drive to King Street. Communication was a breeze! We will definitely book again next time we are in the High Country!

Perfect Tranquility

My family and I stayed at the Trade, Tennessee property right before Thanksgiving. It was a completely lovely experience. The house is absolutely beautiful and tidy, and the acreage around it is spectacular! My teenage son loved it so much, he asked to stay again next year. We've already recommended it to other family who frequent the Boone, NC area. If you want to stay in a little piece of paradise, this is the place for you!

Definitely worth the drive

We really enjoyed the two nights we spent here. Extremely quiet. Not even a bug can be heard, super peaceful. The only negative point was the fact that the bed, doors and the heater are very noisy, besides that, we enjoyed our time here. There are plenty of antique decorations. We brought our dogs, and they had a blast with all that space to run and stuff to sniff. We did have a problem with the shower hot water, but we reached out to the host and helped us out with that. Bottom line, we enjoyed the place, and the price paid was reasonable.

Our Own Private Farm for a Week

My husband and I had a great week here with our dogs. The farm sits in a bowl surrounded by mountains and covered with trees and cow pastures. It is very private. We saw some great wildlife, including a family of turkeys, some groundhogs, and tons of fireflies in the evenings. The house was clean and comfortable, furnished with antiques that make it a very authentic old farm house experience. The front porch is wonderful with comfortable furniture and lots of birds to watch. We had the cows visit right in front of the house a couple of mornings, and they were adorable. The property was about 20 minutes drive from downtown Boone, but it's a straight shot on the highway right into town. This was the best mountain house that we have rented so far since we started making yearly trips in 2017.

A Unique Stay

So let me premise this by saying what an amazing property this is and how perfect it would be for a fair weather event with a lot of people. The barn has some serious hosting capabilities and the surrounding geography is fantastic. That said, we were looking for lodging to cover the Thanksgiving weekend, and given the weather, definitely didn't get to experience the space that way. The home itself is very bare bones rustic. Heat is minimal, the beds are not great, you have a college fridge, and there's limited gathering space. You're staying in a home that was built well over 100 years ago from my telling, so you need to be ready for that. So I wouldn't recommend it for what we used it for, but if you have grander ideas in warmer seasons, this place would be fantastic.

Wonderful Property

We had a wonderful time!! The house and property are beautiful! It’s a rustic farmhouse with that “old” feel. It’s off the beaten path but close to Boone, Blowing Rock and other fun places. We enjoyed the quiet - the bunnies hopping across the field- the fish - the cows. Everything was great!!

Another wonderful visit.
