“Great property. The beds could have been a little more comfortable (we felt like the mattresses in our first room were very saggy) but they moved us to another room upon request which was better. Very helpful staff, hotel was centrally located to nearby hiking and other activities. All in all we had a great time!”

“Wir hatten die Einheit 7 (The Lounge), es war wunderschön und liebevoll vorbereitet für uns. Es war alles da, was man braucht, auch zum Kochen. DAs Haus ist an der Hauptstraße gelegen, mit Geschäften, Cafes und Restaurants. Die Geschäfte schließen um 5 pm (im Mai). In der Umgebung kann man auch viele Aktivitäten machen. Wir können das Butler House wärmstens empfehlen.”

“Would highly recommend AWOL. Excellent location walkable from the village, but also far enough to feel like you are in your own retreat. We stayed in the lodge and the room was very nice—good bed, TV, bathroom, amenities. The breakfast is terriific and much better than the standard free continental breakfast. It was rainy so didn’t use the hot tubs, hammock, etc. but it was all there.”
