“This could be a nice quiet motel if they cleaned it up,having mouse traps and ant traps in the room along with no garbage can ,sheets for curtains and no drinking cups didn’t sit well. The bed had 2 flat pillows and had to drive out for coffee. The only nice thing was the bed was clean at least.”

“This is a clean hotel. Not perfect as my room did was a bit stale smelling, which seemed to come from the ac unit.”

“Pure luxury and decadence is how I would describe the Abbey. The hotel is located on a hill with a gorgeous view of the Hudson. They have afternoon cookies and coffee to relax and enjoy the sunset over the Hudson. The bed is very, very comfortable in each room has its own thermostat. The staff is very helpful and available at a moments notice. You will not regret your stay at this place.”

“Parking was easy with a big lot and the location was convenient, but unfortunately the road noise was incredibly disruptive and woke us up several times. We arrived at our room late and it was super hot - we tried to crank the AC but turning fan to “high” did not actually seem to be high and it took several hours to cool off.”

“Like: convenient to train station and walking distance to downtown for dining, nice view of the river. Good shower water pressure and temperature. Dislike: property is old and needs updating. Rooms need renovation, including new mattresses and bedding, room darkening window shades/treatments. Closet was small and only half height (daughter’s dress pants couldn’t hang without laying on the bottom) and no iron/ironing board. Has a pool but was still covered at the end of June.”

“I gave this property a "Good" rating instead of an "Excellent" because the customer service was lacking. Our room was not ready at 4:30pm. We were offered a drink voucher and I had to remind the front desk that there were two of us in the room. When we did get into our room several items were missing. The ottoman that was supposed to accommodate our suitcases was not there. The hairdryer was also missing. The front desk did have someone bring these items but I felt that there was a real "Oh...

“This motel perfectly corresponds to our needs: easy to be reached by car, large parking, comfortable rooms, good quality hot buffet breakfast included in the reasonable rates. Smart person at the reception. 5 minutes by car from the Hopper House (which is our reason to visit Nyack, NY)”

“It was near a major highway which made it easy to get to but unfortunately there was a few loud vehicles that passed at night which were very loud. All hotels will occasionally have an extra loud motorist so I can't blame the hotel. Very large shopping center nearby was worth the visit”
