“La camera era in mansarda senza aria condizionata. Quando siamo arrivati sembrava una sauna, era insopportabile. Ci siamo rivolti alla reception che ci ha fornito un piccolo ventilatore a colonnina con raffreddamento ad acqua, assolutamente non sufficiente fin tanto che il sole batteva sulla struttura. “There was no soap in bathroom. We called hotel phone number and front desk in evening and morning but nobody answered and no option to leave message. It said limited parking on premises. The limited hotel parking was on another side of busy street and the cross walk was some distance away. The room smelled bad when we arrived. No Kleenex.”

“Although located a little out of town the location is very pleasant and quiet. Housekeeping is very good. I rented a bike in town for my stay and there is secure parking in the garage to keep it. To bike to town is about 10 minutes; walking 25 but busses are very frequent.”

“This is a lovely little hotel about 5min walk from the train station and 1 min from the epic Roman Remains, pedestrianised shopping/eating area. The location was perfect and the lady at Reception was lovely, very helpful and knowledgeable about Trier. We both slept well on the comfortable beds. The shower room was great, good water pressure. This is a good old fashioned hotel - there is no WiFi in the rooms but there is in the lobby. (But there is a telephone and landline in the room!!)”

“This is a delightful, reasonably priced, and newly refurbished small hotel with heart. Breakfast was solid and fairly priced, and the dining room is especially fresh and pleasant after the renovations. The staff were accommodating and helped us to arrange a taxi to the train station, which arrived promptly. The hotel is a six minute walk from Porta Nigra, so it’s uber convenient for touring the town, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle that sometimes comes to the city center. The...
