“The pool was closed, gym treadmill was broken, room smelled, toilet chain was off”

“The room was Ok at first. I wasn’t the cleanest but it wasnt outright dirty either. I wouldn’t walk barefoot on the carpet - it was gross. The worst part was roaches in the bathroom. I checked out as soon as I saw them. I woke up to roaches on the bathroom counter. I packed and checked out. When I checked out the ladies were told about the roaches and all they could say is sorry. Not a place I would recommend staying. ”

“Cute lodge. We stayed in the Safari room. Rooms are small but were fine as we were there just for the night. A 2nd chair by the table would have been nice. Breakfast isn't served early on the weekend so we didn't have any. Wish they had something to go or offer earlier times. There was an event while we were there and while it was loud when we walked in, once we were in our room, it wasn't that bad and it did end by 10pm. ”

“The hotel is dingy. Makeshift. Noisy at times. It’s as clean as it could be given its condition. However, the employees were very nice and did their best to be accommodating.”

“Room was infected with roaches. No wifi in the room. Complained to the manage on site. Stated that I will be getting a refund for my room. Could not sleep there.”

“The hotel is under renovation, so I tried to understand the strong paint smell. That would have been find, until I got to the room and found the bathroom was not clean. The air in the room did not work. The room was hot and uncomfortable all night. It was too expensive to find it in this condition. ”

“Camere spaziose ma da ristrutturare. Aria condizionata impossibile da accendere perche' apparecchiatura completamente sommersa dalla polvere. E' necessario pulire i filtri ogni tanto!!!”

“E' un motel proprio americano, senza fronzoli e frequentato da gente tipica u.s.a.(lavoratori ,gente che sosta per mese ecc.ecc..Distante da St. Louis ma in 15 min. di macchina si va in centro.Gentili i proprietari che gesticono il motel(fanno tutto la moglie e suo marito) Per il prezzo ci si puo' accontentare, per i piu' schizzinosi meglio andare da un altra parte , ma se vuoi provare a vivere all'americana davvero, si puo' provare !”

“The room could use some work. The paint falling from the ceiling in the bathroom wasn't great, the baseboard trim was held by 4 screws and putty. The fact I left the reservation early because of drug use and someone using a BBQ while drinking on the floor above me wasn't great either. When I reached for a refund of the days I was leaving early, no manager was around to answer and the lady at the desk talked like I was a 2 yr old.. ”

“Breakfast is good everytime we stay, Pool was down while we were there which was a bummer, most of the staff was friendly, room was nice and clean as always”
