The Snow Leopard Loft - a Serene Lakes Cabin 7 minutes to Sugar Bowl Ski Resort!

Mountain living at it's best. Serene Lakes is a gem of a community, surrounded by Royal Gorge Cross Country Ski Resort, with the twin lakes of Lake Serena and Lake Dulzura right in the middle of the neighborhood. Bike or walk the short distance to "Lot 1", the private neighborhood beach on the lakes, where you can swim, kayak, or paddle around on a stand up paddle board (all provided.)

Winter:
2 min to: Royal Gorge XC ski resort (the largest in North America) or Soda Springs Ski Resort (perfect for young families or those learning to ski.) Both are literally right in the neighborhood.

7 min to: Sugar Bowl Ski Resort (amazing, deep powder, steep challenging terrain without the lines), Donner Ski Ranch (relaxed, retro-vibe, reasonably priced), or Boreal (night sking anyone?)

20-30 min to the very large resorts of: Alpine Mountains (Icon Pass), Palisades Tahoe Ski Resort (Icon Pass, world famous skiing), or NorthStar (Epic Pass)

The Snow Leopard Loft is our family mountain cabin that we welcome you. There are 4 sleeping spaces—three bedrooms, each with a queen bed and 1 large loft, perfect for the kids with 4 twin beds. Two bathrooms include both a shower and a bathtub, making it easy to refresh after a day of adventure.

The retro kitchen is open to the dining table and living room, making it easy to share a meal and then some post dinner games. A cozy wood burning stove (wood provided) keeps the cabin toasty, along with a brand new heat pump system throughout.

There is a large mudroom to drop all of your mountain adventure gear and 2 sets of washers/dryers to quickly get everything ready for the next day's adventure. 1 car garage (very handy in the winters, where Serene Lakes can easily get multiple feet of snow overnight.)

The Snow Leopard Loft comes with all the equipment you need to live your best Serene Lakes lives. In Summer: 4 stand up paddle boards, 2 kayaks, pickle ball rackets, soccer, basketballs, footballs, volleyballs, tubes and life jackets for floating down the Truckee River. In Winter: sleds for the neighborhood's private sledding hill.

The cabin literally backs directly into the Tahoe National Forest, so you can step out the front door and start exploring! Hundreds of miles of hiking, running, and mountain biking trails await you.
