“Basic hotel, poor conditions of room and its contets. Shower has no haging points, shower head does not work well, no vetilation, kitchen tools are old, A/C is right on the bed's level hence could not be used during the night in hot weather as it freeses the occupants and it is very noisy.”

“I was in town for an Alaskan cruise with my uncle. I had booked (and paid extra for) the bigger room with the sofa bed. I received instructions for after hours check-in, which had me assigned to room #1. When I showed up at 11:45pm and attempted to enter my room, it was locked. I was finally able to get the owner’s son’s attention at 12:10am only to be told that they had given my room to someone else. “Brian was an excellent host from the time he picked us up and the time he dropped us off the next day. Very friendly and good natured. His wife was a wonderful cook that made a great breakfast. Place was clean and the backyard was very relaxing. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for something nicier than a hotel.”

“It was a very nice property in a nice quiet neighborhood, it was close (walking distance to restaurants and stores). It was also near the ferry terminal allowing us to be able to get decent rest before our early morning g ferry to Vancouver island.”
