Hi Dotty Thankyou for your feedback. In regards to the windows they do get regularly cleaned but as you are aware we do have gravel outside and the joys of a two story building also makes it challenging. The kitchen taps have been a slight headache for us since we have taken over, plumber has been in a couple of times fixing them... They tend to be overtightened by guests, something we need to work out a solution for. We hope you enjoyed your stay and appreciate your feedback.

Hi Carol Appreciate feedback as usual as we are new and always looking at ways of improving. Firstly I would like to know your interpretation of a nice hotel for $91.80 which you paid for two people to stay in our backpackers. This includes clean linen, free showers and generous space in the kitchen/lounge and living area upstairs. I checked the light in the upstairs toilet since your review and it goes when the switch is turned on. I had issues with it prior to xmas and due to the type of light it is I got a sparkie in to replace. There is also the two main bathrooms downstairs which have ample toilets, sinks and showers which are free for guests to use. In terms of a freezer, yes there is a big chest freezer available for guests in the kitchen, there is also a large walk in chiller (chiller is another word for Refrigerator). The description of our facilities are true to their word online which is what you booked off. Im sorry you must of been in a bad mood and blame the place which you stayed. I hope the rest of your trip goes well.
