“Rosevears was a beautiful setting a top the River. The accommodations were satisfactory where the view is the highlight. The reception and dining room is detached from the individual cabins which is a bit of an inconvenience to walk to especially if it's raining, but when the sun is shining the outdoor terrace makes for a most spectacular experience. The staff is so kind and helpful and it is the best place to stay on the river.”

“Great family friendly destination, but is in need of upgrades. Boutique studio (551) kitchen sink is too small. Unfortunately the spa was not consistently warm on our lengthy stay and the pool appeared to be over chlorinated. Reception staff were lovely, but the guy in the golf shop could improve his customer service skills.”

“The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. But the unit itself needed a bit of work. The shower had a leak in the bottom and wasn't sealed properly, and there was a family of possums or rats living in the roof that were quite loud. Everything else was in good working condition, but overall could use with a good deep clean.”

“My experience at Windarra On High (as a solo traveller) is on par with stays at some of the most prestigious hotels in the world. I arrived in Launceston late in the evening, so I had to rely on instructions from the team at Windarra On High to get access. “The room was so clean and a very comfortable bed. The access to the property was difficult because Expedia did not send our contact details to the owner. So that delayed our access until after dark. The Owner of Anabel's was very helpful and quickly sent us the access information. Unfortunately the owner has closed the restaurant for the winter but has not updated the site with Expedia. We did have a great meal elsewhere in the town of Scottsdale.”
