“I asked the manager if we could check in an hour or two for a business meeting. Nope, we could not. That was understandable because it had been rented prior to us. So, my husband conducted his business meeting in the truck at Leadville. However, when we arrived two hours after allowed check in time, we had to wait hours while they cleaned one of the cabins. “If you ever need a break from the metro area, this cabin is perfect! Less than two hours from Denver but you feel so much farther. This cabin has beautiful views, comfy furnishings, and access to Fairplay for any food or beverage needs. I really loved my stay, especially the fireplace heater, and will definitely return!”

“The accommodations were wonderful. Everything was clean and well organized. The kitchen was well stocked as we enjoyed cooking most of our meals at the cabin. Lovely views, as well as being a bit secluded and not having neighbors close by. There was a hiking trail right across from the cabin. We enjoyed morning walks with the dogs, as well as seeking out other trails in the area.”

“Our group had a wonderful time during our stay. The cabin feels very private and is nestled right in the middle of a beautiful aspen grove. It was a great place to relax in nature over the holiday weekend. We spotted plenty of wildlife: moose, deer, owls, without even needing to leave the house! Would recommend to anyone looking for an escape to nature. ”
