You have full access to the house and section during your stay.



Some storage areas such as the garage or locked cupboards may be reserved for owner and operational use.



The Neighborhood:

Fantail Retreat sits on North West Arch, the outer loop of Twizel. This area offers a little more space and privacy than the central streets, while still being very close to everything the town has to offer.



The property is just a couple of minutes’ drive from Twizel’s town centre for cafés, restaurants, groceries and supplies. If you prefer to walk, it’s about a 30-minute stroll into town.



The home is tucked away down a gravel driveway among established trees, giving it a peaceful, private feel that many guests love. It’s a lovely spot to return to after a day exploring the lakes, canals or mountain trails.



You’re also close to the Twizel River walkway, a beautiful track for morning walks, family bike rides or unwinding at the end of the day.



It’s the perfect balance of quiet surroundings and easy access to the Mackenzie region’s lakes, trails and alpine adventures.



Getting Around:

Most places in Twizel are only a short drive away.



The town centre, playgrounds and river walkway are nearby, while lakes, canals and fishing spots are easily reached by car. Cycle trails are also accessible from town.



There is off-street parking available at the property with space for multiple vehicles.

Seasonal Note: In warmer months it’s the perfect launch pad for lakes, canals, bike trails and long afternoons outdoors. In winter, the fireplace and heat pumps create a warm, cosy place to return to after days skiing, tramping or exploring the Mackenzie landscapes.
