“The place was more run down than expected and felt closer to a motel than a hotel stay. One major issue was the bathroom setup — there was no shower curtain separating the shower from the toilet, so water got all over the toilet and floor every time the shower was used. The staff was very nice, and Scott was especially responsive, offered helpful suggestions, and did his best to accommodate our needs, which was appreciated. “This is a very peaceful hotel with a nice pool and beautiful landscaping. The town and main road can be overwhelmingly loud and busy at times, so it was great to have a little oasis of calm just outside the main centre. “Clean room and property. Free breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom did not have a door but a privacy screen was available to separate the bathroom from the bedroom. Showers took a while to warm up but never got hot, more like luke warm. But wasn’t too bad since the weather was hot and humid. ”
