"I stayed at Konokono Beach for 7 wonderful nights and it truly exceeded all my expectations. This hotel is a hidden gem, beautifully immersed in nature with the local monkeys often wandering around the lush grounds, adding a special wild touch to the experience. The room was enormous and exceptionally well-equipped with every comfort you could need. What made it truly outstanding was the private outdoor garden, our own small private pool, and the stunning direct beach view. It felt like a private paradise. The staff were fantastic — friendly, professional, and always ready to help with any request. A special thank you to Beatrice, Maria, and Mohammed, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The beach in front of the hotel is one of the most peaceful on the west coast of Zanzibar. Comfortable loungers are provided free of charge, and the calm, relaxed atmosphere is perfect for unwinding completely. Every evening the dinner was accompanied by fantastic live music and shows featuring traditional Masai performances, local dances, and vibrant Zanzibari rhythms. It created a magical atmosphere every single night. I highly recommend Konokono Beach to anyone looking for a tranquil, authentic, and luxurious Zanzibar experience. We will definitely be back! "You cannot have more than this. Excellent position, quiet, large rooms well equipped, with lovely forniture, rooms are resetted twice a day. Cuisine is fantastic, menu change everyday with International and local dishes. It is a wonderful place where staying in Zanzibar."

"Such a charming little hotel , we’re already planning to return next year! It’s simple and relaxed, with an authentic African vibe, so don’t come expecting luxury, but come for the warm atmosphere and the people. The staff are some of the kindest and friendliest you could meet, always ready to help with a smile. The pool offers a breathtaking view of the ocean, and there are two beautiful beaches to enjoy right at your doorstep. The only thing I would suggest is adding a bit more variety to the menu, but overall, it’s a truly special place that wins you over with its soul and warmth."
