Hotel romantici a Union Furnace

“The house was large and everyone liked their rooms. We had wonderful fires in the fireplace while we played games and watched the OSU versus Michigan game. We did have some issues with the refrigerator and the outside grill but the owner looked into the issues and will fix them. He also compensated us for our troubles with them. All in all, a great place to stay if you have a large group.”

“Plenty of outdoor space, wonderful, wraparound porch with furniture, gas grill and hot tub. Great indoor fireplace, there was firewood available for a small fee and plenty of it on the porch (might want to bring some newspapers for kindling). There is an outdoor fire pit too although it was a bit too rainy for us to try to use. The host is very responsive. The cabin is clean and cozy. The bed in the downstairs bedroom was comfortable, as there were only two of us we did not use the upstairs...

“The cabin was very clean, plenty of space, and my husband and I enjoyed the pool table, games, hot tub, and the black stone grill. We cooked at home (Crossroads Meats in Laurelville was excellent) and the cabin had everything we possibly needed!”

“Wonderful couple of days over Thanksgiving. Hosts were very proactive and easy to get hold of. Place was exactly as represented. Didn't get to enjoy the hot tub or much down time on this trip as it was a family Thanksgiving get together that was very busy. Would definitely come back for a long weekend (or longer!) and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.”

“The bed was comfortable. The bathroom rug was dirty, and the shower could have used a good deep cleaning. We did see a mouse on the chair one evening. There was no dresser or closet. It would have been nice for unpacking your clothes.”

“Overall it was nice. Being a larger kitchen, I wish it was stocked better with your most common utensils and cookware. The water in the hot tub was way too hot. The upstairs loft mattress could use an upgrade. However it was clean. ”

“We had the best weekend! The cabin is so cozy!! There is a guide book that is very helpful. Katie is a wonderful host and was quick to respond when I had questions. I managed to make a Thanksgiving dinner for my husband and I while we were there. We loved seeing the cows down the road, the neighbors cat that was very friendly and followed us up the driveway, it’s in close proximity to so many adventures! And the community is very friendly as well. We loved the stay here. ”
