“We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin is very cozy and clean. I thought there were things to do with small children within walking distance such as a pool or play area. Everything to do in the area is a short drive but not able to walk. I was not aware the cabin was in a neighborhood. Not complaining love the cabin would be a great place for just my wife and me. ”

“The view is stunning!! We kept rushing back home to sit outside and enjoy the view!! Michael was amazing w his communication and always responded immediately! The house was just as described. Plenty of room for 3 generations to meet and spend a weekend. Marion has places to eat and Asheville is an easy 40 min drive. I’d recommend driving an suv to get up and down the driveway. Lots of out door areas to sit and enjoy the view!! View from inside was amazing too! Just can’t say enough...

“It was a beautiful, peaceful cabin, surrounded by nature. Two fawns came across the property every morning just before sunrise and hung around for almost an hour. Communication with the host was easy with prompt responses. Hot showers after long hikes, a kitchen stocked with all the cooking utensils and gadgets you could possibly need, and easy instructions to enjoy the amenities.I do recommend taking walking sticks if you walk the Lake Adger Trail. From the house, there are major hills covered...

“The cabin’s location is great with easy access to downtown Black Mouuntain and easy to access I-40 to go to Asheville. The surrounding area has quiet neighbors and enjoyed our weekend. This visit was our second at the property and the owners are very responsive. ”

“Just as described. Well equipped kitchen. Everything is new and modern while maintaining a cozy cabin feel. Very secluded near the top of the mountain road. We had a pickup truck and glad we did to navigate the gravel road. Not too bad, just narrow. I’d imagine it’s more challenging when colder. We enjoyed wine and the hot tub on the patio every evening. We hiked and did breweries during the day and couldn’t wait to get back to the cabin each day. Just so relaxing We hope to be back again...

We had a wonderful time hiking Chimney Rock and walking around Asheville. Great location. Close to everything and quiet. Definitely will make it a yearly trip. ”
