White Sands è una bella casa recentemente ristrutturata che dispone di 4 camere da letto, 2 bagni e solo 2 isolati da Downtown Union Pier. Quando entri in casa, l'open space e i soffitti a volta ti toglieranno il fiato. La cucina ha finiture aggiornate con elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile e grande isola per la prima colazione o un cocktail mentre si guarda la cena. Il soggiorno ha una grande sezione abbastanza grande per guardare un film o uscire e chiacchierare. La sala da pranzo ha posti a sedere per 8 ospiti e molte finestre per molta luce naturale. Avventurati lungo il corridoio e troverai la lavanderia, il bagno principale e tre ampie camere da letto. La prima e la seconda camera da letto hanno letti queen size e la suite principale ha un letto king size con bagno privato (cabina doccia). Mentre salite le scale, vi imbatterete in una bellissima zona soppalcata con una poltrona di grandi dimensioni, un divano letto con rotelle e una zona TV per i bambini con un sistema di gioco. Oltre il soppalco si trova la quarta camera da letto con 3 letti singoli e tanto spazio per i bambini. Goditi il pozzo del fuoco e il grande cortile o rilassati sulla veranda in una delle sedie a dondolo. La spiaggia si trova a soli 3 chilometri dalla casa e c'è un vagone, sedie a sdraio e un ombrellone per la spiaggia che si trova nel garage. Questa casa si trova proprio nel cuore di Union Pier e dista solo un paio di isolati dal Union Pier Market e pochi isolati da Red Arrow Road House. Vieni e goditi tutta questa casa e l'area ha da offrire!

Union pier is awesome

This house fit the bill for two families (with 4 young kids combined) getting to the beach for a long weekend. Easy walk to coffee, ice cream, restaurants in UP and 5-10 min walk to the beach. House is as advertised. Clean and nice and well stocked with games and beach toys/chairs/towels. Also well stocked with kitchen equipment if you want to cook. My only knock is that when you’re paying $600+/night to stay somewhere you shouldn’t have to run dishes and laundry and take out trash when you leave (not suggesting you can trash the place either). Especially when it’s clearly not someone’s home you’re staying in, just a rental business property..

Easy getaway to celebrate 40th birthday

The home was beautiful and the location was perfect. We went out in New Buffalo, wine tasting in Baroda, and explored Warren Dunes. The House had everything we needed and sleeping arrangements were perfect. The loft is great for planning a group because there are 3 twins and a pullout for extra sleeping spaces. We did not need to space since several people cancelled last minute. The house is right off of a busy street and the train horn was startling at times in the middle of the night. Also Just be prepared to spend a couple hours with the check out process. Most rentals I have been in lately do not require that many steps since there are so many added fees For cleaning/etc. Small suggestion would be adding a mirror in the back left bedroom so many people can get ready at once. Overall a very positive experience. Had a wonderful getaway for my sister’s 40th.

Beautiful home

Our family had a great stay at White Sands! The house was beautiful. The only drawback for us was the location of the Lake. It's quite the walk for elderly people, so we drove to the lake and the younger ones walked. We also had one bath towel each, so we laundered frequently, but overall, would definitely recommend!!! Never used the back yard, but enjoyed sitting on the front porch each evening! Very peaceful!

Nice stay

Overall enjoyed our stay. Pros: house was clean and comfortable. Near restaurants, close to the beach. There is a fire pit to enjoy s’mores. Also quick communication from owners. Cons: The check in process was frustrating. I did not like having to message my group asking what time everyone was going to arrive and then having to email owners so they can put a key inside the house and then to message them letting them know when we arrived. When traveling with 5 kids under 6 that’s the last thing u should need to worry about. Get a lock box or a key pad. It should not be that complicated. The small back deck needs rails, one of the kids fell off the side of it and got hurt. There is no fire wood ready to use for the fire pit. We had to go purchase some. The grass was also very long around the house and needed to be cut. I couldn’t let my baby crawl around outside at all. They also had a dozen ant hills all around the yard. The warning notes around the house of what you can’t do or they will charge you don’t exactly give you warm and cozy vibes. The long check out list that needed to be done exactly a certain way or you’ll get charged made our last nite stressful trying to pack and get everything done exactly the way they want. They provided the bare minimum for the rental. Again, overall we had a good time but I don’t think the cost matches the value.

Fantastic friends getaway

We loved our stay! The house was exactly as described and the pictures were spot on. We had plenty of space for a group of 5 friends. Loved that the house was straight down the street from a fun bar for Friday night and we all enjoyed a lovely walk to the beach the next morning. The fire pit was all stocked with wood for us and it truly was so turnkey, we loved it and would absolutely stay again.

Great Family Stay

Overall, our experience at this rental was great. It accommodated 10 of us and gave us plenty of space. Our favorite part of the property was the location distance from the beach. It was a little under 10 minutes to walk there and the beach was just beautiful. The only suggestion would be to bring extra toliet paper, paper towels, and trash bags for they only provide a bear minimum. Since we had 10 of us staying in the home it was easy to use more than what was provided. They do provide some beach towels which was a nice touch. Overall, our stay was great and we would recommend this property to anyone looking to have a nice getaway.
