When I mentioned this, I was told to call a laundry service myself, which made me question whether the “concierge” service really lives up to its name. “All was lovely. The staff were pleasant. Typical Javanese Breakfast of rice, noodles, tempeh and coffee was good. The room was nice and location was on a quite Street just off of Ijen with several local restaurants nearby. We were hoping to extend our stay for a week but the WiFi was nonexistent and we could not get cell service in the room. WiFi worked okay in the lobby just outside but because of this we found another hotel just around the corner.”

“The room and the breakfast were ok, but some improvement in cleanliness might be done. The towels provided we very old (threadbare), the soap dispenser in the shower had some rusted parts which implied some rust pieces were released with the soap at each release and the shower had some molded sealings. The pillow sheets also didn't smell good, as if they had been kept in a dusty place or just not properly cleaned. ”

“Personnel de l hotel très agréable et réactif. Nous avons changé de chambre car celle ci était très bruyante à cause d'une fenêtre cassée et de la proximité de la rue. Environnement très bruyant ( réveil à 4h du matin tout les jours par les haut parleurs des 3 mosquées environnantes...). Restaurant moyen... ”

First the good....few employees are 5 STAR: 1) Miss Mayan from the Reception is nice, polite, helpful, speaks good English. 2) Miss Rara from the Reception is nice and polite. 3) Mr. Harry for the Cafe/Restaurant is nice, polite.
