“The hotel served a great breakfast, room was very clean and comfortable, staff (especially the man overseeing breakfast and the woman who checked us in) was very good, and the location was very close to the free trolley line. They also let us stash our luggage for the day while we explored the city -- our train wasn't leaving until 9 pm -- which was incredibly helpful. The hotel was just up the road from Union Station and WWI war memorial -- so convenient. Great place to stay!”

“My opinion is that this is a hotel with great bones. It is structurally really cool, and it is in a great location for walking to Royals or Chiefs games. The staff were very friendly. But, my room was not clean. Stains on the furniture, hair on my pillow. The TV didnt really work well. Overall, I feel like this is a great building being run by management that is cutting corners. They could do better. ”

“The parking was really easy and free! It was very easy to communicate with our hosts and they responded to everything we needed. It was a comfortable room and quiet. I wish our room hadn't been right outside the coffee making machine but it ended up that there was plenty of privacy. The location was perfect. ”

“What a great place to stay! Loved the location and simplicity of the studio for our short stay. We really appreciated how high the shower head was! Oftentimes, my husband has to duck under! I would maybe suggest mentioning the height of the bed. Or making them all the same height. We met an older couple and got to see their studio #2. Their bed was much lower than ours and could have been difficult to get in and out. ”

“I got a room there for Planet Con because it was really close to the convention. However I did not enjoy my stay because they did not have any handicap parking at the hotel. I had to pay for parking at the end of the block. I had to walk a long distance and that was extremely difficult due to my disability.”
