Hotel a Unorganized West Timiskaming

“Our room had no AC and it was not a pleasant sleep. Only 1 window in the living space and it was suggested to us to put the small fan in the window for air circulation. Didn't like that we needed to keep the window open on the main floor facing the main entrance. The bathroom door also faced the open window and we had to keep the bathroom light on all night because there were no night lights. Other than that, it was very clean and the bed was comfortable.”

“Walked in to check in. There was an argument between the person at the front desk and a customer arguing about bed bugs. I turned around, walked out and never checked in.”

“The location is amazing and a great view of Lake Temiskaming. I got to swim at the beach in early June and the water was perfect, since it is seperate from Lake Temiskaming, otherwise would have been too cold. It was a highlight to be able to swim at the beach right by the hotel. The staff is really friendly and they make an enjoyable free breakfast for the guests.”

“Let me start by saying that Alan, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming, and the room itself was very clean. However, the cleaner used on the tile left a very strong smell that irritated my eyes if I stayed in the room too long. I ended up getting a candle to help cut the smell, which did improve things. The motel itself is quite dated. The beds were older but still comfortable, and the rooms only offer single and twin beds. I was glad to have both a fridge and microwave in the room. The...

“Well it started with no service at the desk you have to dial a instructed number then someone shows up! As I needed to find a bathroom I push open a employee's only door and Oh Boy! This place needs to be condemned.I proceeded to the assigned room upon opening the door there was an ear plug by the bed old dirty rugs full of burnt cigarette marks pill bottle under the night table with bottle caps just discusting.”

“For $300 a night stay to not be allowed pool or hot tub access is just ridiculous 🙄 It's an extra $48 per person to enjoy pool area and that's only for the time your there. Once you leave time's up! The bathroom floor in room looked like a poop stain on floor, no - broken bathroom hooks on door. Floors weren't cleaned at all. Would not stay again!!!”
