Hotel a Unorganized West Timiskaming

“This property is under construction. My room and the people in my party have no complaints about the room. The front entrance has a step too high from the sidewalk. There is no handrail and as a result I fell to the sidewalk from the bottom step. I am 73 years old and twisted my knee. I believe the front desk clerk reported it to the manager after I reported it to her. The side parking lot is a concrete pad with no markers to indicate the edge of the concrete.”

“New to us was everything was done on line. There was no one at the front desk. Was a phone to call. Missed having a hair dryer. Good otherwise.”

“The Hotel does not advertise that the Pool is Closed, Hot Tub and other amenities are closed as the Hotel is under renovation as of May 12 2026. The Microtel wouls also not offwr any refund , dont book a stay at this Hotel in Timmins”

“The room wasn't very clean. Things were broken and falling apart. The blinds were broken and full of holes, they couldn't be shut, the bath matt had been stuffed in the corner of the bathroom and it was ripped and fullnof holes. The bathtub was fullnof rust stain and soap scum and kept leaking. The side table was almost completely undone from it's legs and the room smelt very bad. The screen door was also very rusted and wouldn't close. We have stayed in many motels and hotels before. This was...

“I like this motel a lot even though I find the price a little excessive. However, as far as I can tell, it is the cheapest in Timmins. The restaurant in proximity is quite convenient.”
