Perfect stay for graduation weekend

Clean, updated house with large, fenced back yard.

My wife and I (plus our corgi dog) rented for a week around Thanksgiving to be near our son and daughter in law. The house isn't in a great neighborhood, but was still fine taking our dog for long walks. Inside, the house is nicely updated and comfortable, and has a large fenced back yard perfect for our dog. Great shower water pressure, and nice gas stove and appliances in the kitchen.

Clean and comfortable

This property was very clean, in a quiet neighborhood, and a short drive to everything we wanted to do. Would recommend. Has a great fenced back yard the weather did not allow us to enjoy.

Well cared for house with a great host

Worked very well for us - nice to have a king bed for us and larger beds for our kids - kitchen was great (including a nice basket of snacks (with one of my favorites)) - that was important for us as we were hosting family parties (at other locations) and having a empty frig and a well appointed kitchen was important - also like the no need to get a key entry and the always available communications with our host

Exactly what we needed

The house was exactly what we needed - a space for us to relax and use as a home base for visiting our daughter and enjoying some Illinois football. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the location was convenient for us. Karen was very helpful with any questions that I had. We will visit again!

Cute spot!

We really liked the home and what it offered. Just wish it wouldn’t have been so tucked back into the neighborhood…it made it seem less appealing. Neighbors had lots of trash (not her fault) and the landscaping could be cut back to make the outside as appealing as in the inside. Thanks for a great stay.

Nice home

Quiet neighborhood. The house is unassuming from the outside, but had a large fenced yard, and is very cute inside. The host is great at communicating and has added lots of nice features, clean towels, extra blankets, all you need in the kitchen. Thanks for a great trip.

Pros and cons

I stayed with my husband, kids (12&16) and a puppy. Pros:- 1- the house is clean and has a nice full fenced backyard which our puppy loved it. 2- it’s 9 minutes away from meijer if you need to buy anything. 3- Karen was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Cons:- 1- we didn’t like the neighborhood. It’s kinda of shady. 2- the house needs more small appliances and utensils but only if u r staying as a family. I was staying for my orthodox Easter and I was cooking so I felt I needed more. If you are by yourself and don’t plan to cook then it’s good for you. 3- the backyard needs to be sprayed cuz it has bees and mosquitoes. Again if you won’t plan on sitting on the backyard like I do when I’m drinking my coffee, then it’s not a big deal.

Perfect for us!

This house met all our needs! Super close to Aldi and Walmart for snacks and such. Very quick drive to university campus and parks. Access was easy and backyard was great for dog and kids. Karen was very responsive from start to finish.
